About DIY Junkie

Most DIY writeups are a wall of text and a few photos. You get to the end and still don't know what it costs, what you need, or whether it's worth your weekend.

What this does differently

Every project here is structured. Parts are rows in a table with quantities and unit costs, so the total adds itself up and stays right. Tools are a checklist. Steps are numbered and each carries its own photos. Drawings, cut sheets and 3D models attach to the project so a reader can spin the model before cutting anything.

The deal

  • Free. No paywall on reading or publishing.
  • Your work stays yours. You pick the licence on every project.
  • Private by default. Projects start as drafts; you decide when to publish.
